About this directory
What this site is
Austin Landscapers is a directory of 200 landscaping businesses working in and around Austin TX. It exists for homeowners and property managers who want to compare local crews, mowing services, irrigation installers, and design-build outfits without wading through pages of ad-driven search results. Every listing is built to give you a fast, honest read on who does good work locally, based on data rather than opinion.
This is not a pay-to-play catalog. It’s a working reference, kept current on a monthly cycle, meant to sit alongside your own calls and site visits, not replace them.
Where the listing data comes from
Each profile starts from public business information: name, address, service area, license or registration details where available, and years active. We then pull in recent Google reviews for that business and run them through a synthesis process that looks at patterns across sentiment, responsiveness, and recurring complaints or praise. We do not copy or republish review text. If you want to read what customers actually wrote, every listing links out to the business’s Google profile so you can see the source directly.
How rankings are earned
Rank order on this site comes entirely from a published rubric applied to that underlying data: review volume, review recency, sentiment trends, consistency over time, and a handful of other factors laid out in full on our methodology page. Nothing about a listing’s position is negotiated or purchased. A business can claim its profile and correct factual details like hours, phone number, or service area. What it cannot do is touch its own score, its sentiment read, or where it lands in the ranking. That stays independent by design.
Sponsored placements
Some pages may include a sponsored slot. When present, it’s labeled “Sponsored” and displayed in its own section, separate from the ranked list. Sponsorship pays for visibility, not rank, and it never bumps a business up or down the earned order.
Who’s behind it
This directory is published by Bluebonnet Local Guides. Rankings are maintained by Rachel Delgado, Managing Director, who spent nine years estimating jobs and running crews for a Round Rock landscaping company before moving into publishing. That background is why the rubric focuses on the things that actually matter on a job site: showing up, finishing on time, and handling the stuff that goes wrong. The scoring rubric is fixed and public, and it applies the same way to every business regardless of size or whether they’ve claimed their listing.
Data across the directory refreshes monthly. Individual listings also carry a “last verified” stamp so you can see exactly when that business’s facts and review data were last checked, rather than relying on a vague site-wide update note.
Questions about a listing, a correction request, or anything else can go to hello@bluebonnetlocalguides.com.

FAQ
- Can a landscaping business pay to rank higher?
- No. Rank comes only from the published rubric applied to review and business data. Sponsored slots exist separately and are always labeled, but they don't change earned position.
- Can a business edit its own reviews or score?
- A claimed business can correct factual details like hours or service area. It cannot edit its sentiment score or ranking.
- How often is the data updated?
- The directory refreshes monthly, and each listing shows a last verified date so you can see when it was last checked.
- Do you show the actual Google review text?
- No. We synthesize patterns from recent reviews and link out to each business's Google profile so you can read the original reviews yourself.
